Thinking of buying a 91 Landcruiser
I'm a newby to the site, but a good friend of mine told me about it and after a short time of browsing I've come to the conclusion that this site rocks!
I was thinking of purchasing a 1991 Landcruiser and wanted to get some expert advice/opinions. There is one listed in the local paper w/ 200k + miles and they are asking $3950. Is this a good deal, is 200k + miles too many, what should I look for when I test drive it?

I have 330000 original miles on my 91 3fe and it does over 70mph on the hwy. It takes a while to get there but I am in no hurry. But the price is a bit high non the less.

Good luck on your search... I'm kinda in the same boat as you. Been cruising the board for just a little while and loving the community so far. Adds to the appeal of this truck.
Anyhow, there is someone in my area selling a '94 with 209K miles for $4,500, and it sounds like the price is pretty negotiable... Just to give you an idea of pricing. So perhaps the car you mention isn't a great deal.
Regarding the 1FZ, if I were looking seriously, that would be mandatory. But that's just me.
Again, good luck!
