| New Fellow Cruiser on the Road Guys,
I have been posting for a few days now, and I have finally purchased my LX 450 today.
I love this rig, and this site is awesome. Thanks for you advice and your guidance on the selection process.
Details:
Paid $9,750 from a local Land Cruiser fan here in Houston. (he owns a sweet 75 with 35k original miles)
1997 LX 450
75,750 Miles
Factory Lockers
No Roof Rack
Champagne Pearl Clearcoat
Few small interior issues, will post pictures soon.
Leather is in great shape, and the rig drives and handles like a new truck.
I used to be an Early Bronco nut. I have owned 4 in the past, and I was very active on ClassicBroncos.com: Early Bronco Community for 66-77 Ford Bronco Fourms.
I look forward to building this truck up, and look forward to the guidance and advice from those on this board.
Thanks again, and I will post some pics as soon as I can.
In the mean time, you can see some medium resolution pictures here.

| Wow. 75k miles is a rarity nowadays. Welcome and it looks very clean, but it sounds like it won't be stock for long...

| 75K is rather rare. Mine with lockers has 165K and has been rolled. I paid a bit less! I had to do the body work.
That is a clean looking truck. enjoy it. PM me if I can help. |

| Congrats! Hey Brett,
Congrats on the new LX. Now give me my LC back! I am sorry to have infected you with the bug, but... it will be good to build up our trucks together and have a partner in crime. Just 15 more days till I am on my way back to Tejas! Talk to you soon. Clint |

Matt | It came with the rig, but I think it is a land rover item. I could be wrong.

Did this truck come with red antifreeze? I sure hope so....
Also, see the driver's side power seat adjustment - it is missing that top knob. Is this serviceable?

I've very happy about it.

| Nice clean LX! I paid almost that much in 4/06 with 45K more miles and no lockers! However, rigs with lockers were fetching 10-12K+ back then.
