Find a 80 with locker, but has a few questions.

It is a 97 LX with 135K. No service records, but Carfax shows between 65k to 92k miles, some services been done, but no detail given.

If I am going to buy the LX, other than regular turn up, what other things need to be done at 135K? I had a 95 LC before, and for some reasons, I can't open the slide windows in the back? How much does the LX with 135K miles goes for these days, I already checked the NADA, KBB, & Ebay, since gas is still at $3.60/G, what would be a resonable offer to the dealer? Anyone had bought a LX recently can give me an idea?

Whatever your comfortable paying is a good deal and only you can decide what that number is. I recently purchased a locked `97 LX w/144k, one owner, excellent condition, $7200. Got it from a wholesaler in TX and I would say that was a good deal. If your shopping at a dealer, figure out what your comfortable paying, offer it, when they say no/hell no or whatever, leave them your number and get the hell out of there. More than likely, if your even close to their number, you'll be hearing from them sooner than later.

Good luck

Looks like akarilo already answered your other questions, so I'll take care of this one...

LX450s had a car phone option. While not all LX's had this option, all have an antenna built in to the rear USDS (?) window. It doesn't open.

X2 on the bastid early 90's style POS car phone. The antenna on the rear DS window makes it so you can't open it. I have removed my car phone and the receiver in the rear quarter panel as well as the antenna. The antenna made my window lip rust and I am preparing to repair it. You might want to pull off the rear plastic panel and check to see if it's rusted on the one you are looking at. Read: more bargaining power.
