'92 FJ80 coolant hose clamp question
Having had to recently replace an ATF coolant hose (7 qts of ATF spilled all over the USDS wheel well!), I now have the following question:
where does the clamp circled in the picture below (90461-08594) go? It obviously is supposed to hold the oil cooler inlet hose to the frame cross member somewhere under the radiator and in front of the steering dampener. My old hose was lying loose on top of the skid plate with the clamp not attached to anything. There seem to be no threaded holes anywhere in the vicinity. The vehicle is a 1992 FJ80 (3FE) with an external transmission cooler. Any help is appreciated, particularly if it offered before I bolt the skid plate back into place. The leak, by the way, happened at the double metal pipe that takes the cooling hoses through the sheet metal under the USDS headlight. __________________ '92 FJ80 stock | '94 FZJ80 not stock and currently *down* | '08 Tundra Grade DCSB 4x4 5.7 |

Somebody help me please! The hose is between a rock (the pulley and belt above) and a hard place (the steering damper below). Surely one of the 3FE owners knows how that ATF hose is routed. Landtank jr.? Anyone?
