Locknut Socket Size?

What size socket for the lock nuts for the front wheel bearings on an 91 FJ80? 54mm? What is the inch equivalent?

It should be a 54mm, that is what is used on the 93-97's.

A 2 1/8 standard socket might be close enough to 54mm.

For the axel nut I used a 2-3/32" (the only size I could get at the store here) and it worked fine.

I used a 2 1/8" socket from sears this last weekend and it worked fine. I think the 91 is the same...
