REALLY bad noise....need help!

did a little trail ride in Crested Butte, went through a bouncy mud hole in 4lo and after getting back onto the streets, noticed a really nasty scratching, s****ping, clicking noise at all speed. On or off the gas, in D or N, seems to be not as loud on left hand turn, and my buddy got out and listened and said it was in the rear. Seems the sounds comes "in and out" Quite stumped. Had a wheel bearing replaced 2k ago, had everything lubed and checked. Bad birf, bent tie rod, wheel bearing??? ALSO, it anyone can recommend a mechanic in the area that you would trust to work on your 80, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help guys.

At least pull the wheel off and see if there is something stuck in there maybe scraping the brake rotor. I have no good rec's for Breck but Slee isn't too far away in Golden.

More than likely you have a pebble inside the brake dust shield. You should be able to remove it easily.
