Pardon the dumb question but is it not possible to also reduce the high gear set as well? This way folks can run 4.10s with larger tires on the hwy w/o killing their transmission? Now, I don't think one would need as much of a change on the high side but anything to bring the final gear ratio close to the stock should make the engine and ECU very happy while going down the highway.

I am in the "interested but can't quite do it right now" camp. Adding the Mark's gears to my 62 was perhaps the best mod I ever did on it and I'd love to get that kind of control offroad on the 80.

My mods budget is toast for the next 8-9 months or more. Interested, but can't.

Not untill we have 10 people who can put up the cash right now. Rick knows that it might be a while before we come up with 10 and the window for the sale isn't going to close right now.

I'm still waiting to hear the exact gear ratio, he emailed me earlier yesterday and said he is still waiting for his parts supplier to get back to him on the exact ratio.

Gday all.
I am sad to say that I am going to have to put this on the backburner for the time being as my supplier has just informed me that he is 3 months away from having stock. ![]() I sort of get the feeling that this wont be too much of a drama anyway, as a lot of you are not quite ready to buy yet. I shall keep you all informed as more info becomes available. Cheers. Rick. |

. Unless I am passing a semi or in a hurry then I take advantage of the boost. I'm in this group too. The S/C has killed my budget for quite sometime. Maybe these will be available by the time I have some more flow. __________________ 97LX450, 141K, 285CooperSST's, OME851/860's, S/C, CDL 7-Pin, Landtank MAF, Slee SS lines, 100 pads, silicone PHH, Raventai temp, CDan parts throughout($5K+). I am in Aus and I cannot get prices that good, so when you guys order your gearsets I will have one 2, and just get it sent to me here in Aus.
