Longer brake line solution

Has anyone out there used a Corolla clutch hose (90931-01063) for an extended front brake line? The ends are the same as an 80's, and it is about 5 inches longer.

seems like you answered the question.... same ends, longer. Should work.

Do you know if the ends on an early 80 (91-92) are the same as a later 80?

Some time ago TGAPJH came up with part numbers from a tacoma or tundra or something with a t. Anyway I have them on mine. Direct OEM bolt on, but longer.

I would not substitute clutch hoses for brake hoses.

I have used T100/Tundra brake hoses to provide an additional ~2 inches of length.
