are the solenoids interchangeable between the different model 80 starters?

From talking with CDan to get parts to rebuild mine just a couple of weeks ago, they are not interchangeable. Each one has different specs on the contacts etc.

contacts are one thing. mounting is another. mounting is what i'm concerned about.
