1993 l.c. locking diffs $5500

Im going to test drive it tomorrow. I has 190,000 miles. What are some major things to check out, and is this price too high? Your input is appreciated positive or negative. thanks.

1. Check for oil in the coolant.
2. Make sure the locker actuators are actually on the diffs, and that they work.
3. Rust.

Those are the three biggest things I can think of right now.

It might be worth $5k...but I would not pay that much for it given the current economic milieu and anecdotally what I've seen in the secondary market for cruisers as of late. Gas is high=cruisers are not selling too well.

Just picked up a very nice '97 LX 450 with lockers, reasonably clean body and undercarriage, 161k and paid $6k. The only thing missing from the truck that I would have liked is a factory roof rack. Thought it was but didn't ask. I feel like what I paid was fair.

To paraphrase CruiserDan, the port installed "factory" rack on US 80-Series is a rust breeding POS and the best place for it is in the trash heep. You are far, far better off without it.
