So I finished pulling the body off the 91 I'm using the chassis as a donor for my 60 project. I took it to the scrap yard. Without the tranny tunnel and headlight/radiator supports it weighed in at 860 lbs. It was also missing both rear doors. No glass, nothing, pretty much stripped to the bone. It had the headliner and the sunroof motor in it. But no glass.

i believe the thread should be titled 'birth of a beautiful project' and 'not death of an 80.' too bad you're not 2 hours closer or i'd be up helping every weekend. can't wait to see you pull this off.

And it had beautiful rocker panels. I offered them up to the locals and nobody wanted them. The whole thing was mint from the rear doors back. It rolled forward and landed on a rock that went right through the sunroof area. Nobody was hurt except the Cruiser.
