anyone run this stuff on their rig, snake oil? beneficial? what does it do etc

In 2002 I ran Z-MAX in a 88 4Runner with a V6. Had a strong engine with the odometer reading over 300,000. next oil change was "chunky"; then I got a knock... Not going to put it in my FZJ80!
