Slee 4" lift and Driveline Vibes

Ok, so I just installed a slee 4" lift this past weekend, which was a breeze thanks to the great instructions and awesome components of the lift. I installed the supplied new double cardan driveshaft for the front, but am still getting some pretty decent driveline vibes at all speeds (especially under 10mph) . I know my rear u-joints are pretty much toast because my truck has 130k on the clock and I don't believe they have ever been changed. My question is this, are the mojority of people with 4" lifts out there running the stock rear driveshaft or a double cardan rear driveshaft. Because I don't want to replace the rear u-joints only to still have some driveline vibes. Thanks in advance for the help.

The rear stays stock as far as I know. Don't over look a bad slip yoke on that shaft either. I've found a few. If it was my truck I would go ahead and change out the entire rear shaft since the cost of the new joints are going to be a good part of a new one.

barcruiser,

My lift is listed in my sig. As mentioned, try using the stock DS. A slightly different approach to a lift height similar to your own. In this case, I installed Slee's longer control arms, and was able to use the stock driveshaft. The only vibes whatsoever are from the IROKS once in a while before the balancing powder distributes.

Every truck is a tad different, but at least there are alternative solutions to fit in most cases.

TY
