Man that was an extensive scenario. I'm not going to small claims I just want a mechanic of my choice to asses the damage and we can go from there. and my truck is 15 years old with 110,700 miles to be exact.

I wouldn't ask for pain and suffering, or punitive damages. In my head, if I damage something tha belongs to someone else, I am responsible for fixing it. If I walk by someone's car and accidentally scratch the crap out of it, the owner shouldn't have to pay for the damage. It doesn't matter that it was an unfortunate accident, or if I did it maliciously. I did it, and I'm responsible. IF the OP has flat spots on his tires, the tires should be replaced. IF not, no harm, no foul.

If it were a perfect world, we wouldn't need lawyers.

I understand what you are saying. I'm just trying to realistically explain what happens in a situation like this, in my experience.

No hurt no foul?

A car is legally parked with a pass and it is pulled out of the way with potential for significant injury to the car.

either the cops didn't do their homework and didn't make sure the lot was cleared or the venue didn't do their's and make sure the lot was cleared for the police.

Either way I wouldn't want to worry about it if it was my truck. either the cops or the venue would be getting me tires. Or at leaste my lawyer is going to make a little money giving someone hell over the issue.

There's always the lawyer option.

enough of a rubber track around an asphalt parking lot that you can take a pic of it would likely mean flat-spotted tires indeed I would think.
And I also would want the parking pawl checked by a good shop.
