Has anyone fabbed up there own panhard bars, would it be unsafe to cut the stock bars and weld some burly tubing on to make them longer? My alignment is all messed up.

Slee - Toyota 80 Land Cruiser Series Suspension DIY Pieces I used Slee's weld-in adjusters, but I know of someone who successfully lengthened their panhard rods by welding in their own extensions. __________________ 95 FZJ80 custom headers & 3" flowmaster exhaust, 4" OME lift (with CC bushings, x br lines, adj panhards, heavier dropped sways), ARB lockers, 35" BFG A/Ts, dual dry cell batteries, 2300 watt inverter, speedo corrected, & Kaymar w/carrier Next: 5.29 gears, winch |

yep, its a 863J in the rear with L shocks and 420 comp coils up front.
This started as a 3-4" lift and turned into like 6" I installed the 850J coils up front first but they were way lower in front than the rear so I ordered the 5" OME comps and MAF 3" control arm drop brackets to get back some of my castor. I have some OME castor bushings too. I also needed a longer front brake line witch I am installing today, I havent drivin it sence I put on the lift. Cant wait. As for the panhards, I would think it would be easy to measure-cut-weld-replace, but Ill probably end up ordering some. Next, gears and tires. Any suggestions for gear ratio with 315's and a 3fe? |

Incidentally, check this out: MIKRONITE
I will likely do this when I switch to 5.29s. __________________ 95 FZJ80 custom headers & 3" flowmaster exhaust, 4" OME lift (with CC bushings, x br lines, adj panhards, heavier dropped sways), ARB lockers, 35" BFG A/Ts, dual dry cell batteries, 2300 watt inverter, speedo corrected, & Kaymar w/carrier Next: 5.29 gears, winch |

4.88 should be enough if you don't have a plan on going any bigger than 35's.

I really like that color on a wagon.... oh- and ditch the rest of your flares- it looks good!
And- 5.29's. The 3FE will thank you. __________________ Eric P. 1993 Landcruiser, 190K miles. Lifted, Locked, Slidered, Slee'd, Snork'd, Winched, bobbed. Daily driver. ROTW |
