O2 sensor resetting

If you disconnect the O2 sensor at the plug above the cat, do you think you have to then disconnect the battery to reset the computer?

since I disconnected the O2 sensor the other day to do the rear heater mod, my fuel consumption has drop big time.

Whats the best way to reset the computer?

I don't know if it is "the best" way, but disconnecting the battery will certainly work.
