huh? It's using the proper amount supplied by the manufacturer. I don't need it to rip out of the cheap 13 year old plastic on a heavy washboard road. Im a big fan of overbuild rather than under build and a huge 32 ouncer goes flying off onto the floor while driving

West Marine.
I think he's referring to the appearance of the bright silver bolt heads. It wouldn't bother me, I have that bright silver and black thing going on with my ugly console. If one really hated the silver a little black paint would go a long way.

cup holder solution

I'm using some holders I found at a swap meet. I used old-school cell phone brackets for front and rear of the forward holder. No new holes in console, used only pre-existing holes. (I should have wiped it down for the photos).

I had to mount forward holder at an angle to clear the protrusion at the dash. Passenger side loses a small bit of left leg room. But, no big deal as I don't carry any really big people.

Does anyone know what type of vehicle the forward cup holder may be from? I wish I knew, I might be able to sell kits! It has a nice center compartment under the lid.

Total cost: $4.00; $2.00 for the forward dual-cup holder, $1.00 for the console side-mounted cup holder (not yet secured, photo-op'd only) and $1.00 for the middle row floor-mounted dual cup holder. It just sits there attached by superstick velcro stuff I saved from the old cell phone modules which were stuck - and I mean really STUCK to the carpet.

graco! - lol, that's too funny. well, I searched for graco images and discovered both upper level cup holders are graco. the front dual cuppie is very steady and works great.

yeah, I'll admit I've been called inventive and resourceful, amongst other things.

the seat covers?!? hey now, they happen to be genuine aussie sheepskin - not the fake scrape or muskrat stuff.
the interior was originally cloth on my '91. i have been slowly converting to leather but the front seats are still cloth. and i personally prefer the feel of sheepskin against bare skin (now, now, let's not go there) over the rough feelin' factory cloth. neways, they look a lot better in person. and they're cool in summer and warm in winter.

thanks for the comments!

Plenty of cupholders, big ones too. And lots of horns!
