Leaking rear diff fluid out of fill plug

So my driveway is a slight uphill slope and when I park the 80 it has left a small puddle of rear diff fluid on the driveway. Seems like the leak has gone away, and I know its coming from the fill plug not the drain plug because I checked it. Im sure its not more than 1/10th of a qt of fluid its down, should I pull the plug and top it off/seal up the fill plug? Or should I just let it go now that its stopped leaking?

??

of course, put it on the flat, check the level, adjust if need be, and tighten the plug properly. Takes all of 2 mins.

And while you're at it, try and see if the oil is still OK?

Oil is brand new less than 1000 miles old

Did you put new gaskets on the plugs?
