Good deal or not?

I'm going to check this Cruiser out later. Does it sound like a decent start....truck, price, etc...any tips?

If you are in the Austin area, i would also check out this truck. (1993 FJ80 Landcruiser)
I have no affiliation, but seems like worth checking out.

only 140k, supercharger, Front AND rear ARB air lockers and new shoes!

Sounds like a decent deal, id hit it. Just take off the damage multiplier on the front and replace it with something a bit more stout. Or just use the factory front bumper to run over small children like I do. j/k

could be a good deal. have it checked out by a mechanic you trust for mechanical soundness, look at the maintenance records (if they don't have any that's kinda suspect to their claim that it is mechanically sound/maintained).

check out the buyer's guide sticky at the top of the 80-series tech forum as well.

it looks like the leather steering wheel might be trashed - might be a good indicator of the quality of care overall on the truck.

as dixie_cragger alluded to, it's a good idea to look at multiple trucks before buying one to get an idea of what's important to you and the different condition the vehicles might be in.

buying used from somebody that has maintained a 80 for a while is a good way to go cause they probably babied it pretty good on maintenance...

good luck!
