MOST Tucked up Receiver Brand

Just wondering if I could pick some brains..

What (if any) brand receiver hitch is the most tucked up under the bumper, and least intrusive.. I looked at just getting a pintle type ( like sor's), just because I'm not towing anything HUGE, just a couple MC's but it seemed like the $$ was just as much to get a real set up.

now the reason I ask is because I bought a hidden hitch for my old 94 toyota PU and it hung down UNBELIEVABLY far....I bought another brand and it was where it was suppose to be.... also I know some bolt together and some are welded..

I want to find something as snug to the bumper as possible until I take the plunge and just get a ARB....or something like unto it!

still using the spare underneath of course...

thanks
b

Doesn't hang below the bumper at all with the slider removed and it's dirt cheap to make

The Drawtite would be the most tucked up 'rated' hitch.

Farther up are creative hitches including through the bumper hitches (see Sleeoffroad.com)

SNAKE EATER, That's perfect! - tell me, is there a reason that you made the bolting plate so big? I was thinking that one could just keep it reasonably close to the bolts...???

@ $29 im all over that!

thanks, looks like FERDBUILT it is!

tnx

If I had my choice I would go with 4x4 labs bumper replacement which has the receiver built in.

i second the 4x4 labs. I need protection, departure angle, towing abililty and a place for a tire and hilift. In the meantime the receiver hangs down more than the spare which makes me worry less about dragging the spare tire around.

No reason in particular

I thought it would somehow add to the strength, but if I had to do it all over again, I'd make it just a little wider than the mounting holes

i believe lcducatti80 (or similar) flipped a standard hitch upside down and came through the rear crossmember but if you going to replace it in the future and arent haulin a huge load or regular trailering id get something like above for the mean time.
