Who here has swapped a manuel tranny in an 80?

I would like to keep it as clean as possible, pedal setup is my main concern. It will be a TBI 350 with a 02' GM (internal slave) NV4500- advanced adapter to fj60 split case.

I have a buddy that used a modified 60 series pedal setup in his 80. That was a 12HT/H55f combo.

Not the build referenced by mac above, but check out this eye candy. I don't even know if bjowett has finished it yet, but it is one of the sweetest bits tinkering on this forum.
Enjoy.

Why don't you get the pedals from an 80 with a manual transmission? I know they weren't sold in the US but there has to be a source somewhere as they were sold everywhere else.

I could look for you in the UK but I suspect it wouldn't be the cheapest place to look.
