This seems to be the only ATF available at Costco, at least my store. I just did a partial drain and fill, and NOW I read the container. I was basically scanning it for DEXRON 'whatever' to make sure it was good, but the only place it says it is way down in the middle of a paragraph stating;
" ...Recommended for automatic transmissions in passenger cars, light trucks and heavy duty vehicles for which former DEXRON III fluids are specified." It seems to be there higher end dino ATF on their site... LINK Anyone else using this stuff? Should it be ok? IIRC, DEXRON is a registered trademark of GM, until recently they were allowing other company's to use it. They have decided not to allow that anymore to "eliminate confusion".
So the Chevron is the same stuff with a new name.
