Need to download the pics I took in Moab now that I have the camera back - it disappeared for a bit. I think I have a shot of Christo in the motorhome (can't remember its name) doing Dump Bump! Long wheelbases rock!!

Here are a few crappy cell pics of last weekend. Definetely need fresh tires. Out here swampers/ cut boggers/ and baja claws work best. In the dry the truck did great and I was impressed. The crawler box is a must have on an 80. I also like the full hydro steering.

I ordered a new windshield and am going to attempt pushing the body back into shape. I think I am going to semi restore the body damage and put some ohio plates on it to drive to work once and awhile.

If you are used to wheeling an 80 the freedom of not having the back end of the truck behind you is quite nice, isn't it. I always felt if you got the nose through stuff, the rest is pie.

As for tires, I can see those not cutting it for you. You need some paddles

PS, we pulled the wiper fuse so we would not turn them on and scratch the lexan. Not sure if you figured that out or not. Looks like you might need them. As for winshield. When Ben's truck was totally messed up and he wanted to get a windshield, he had the guy glue it in, instead of the gasket. Couple of tubes of glue and it actually held up pretty good. Not sure if you could get the gasket back in, but worth a try. The lexan was the best we could do at 10pm in Idaho Falls.

I think I might hit the CMCC. Will let you know. How congested does it get at roush creek? I heard it is small.

It is smaller than Paragon but some more new trails have been opened in past year or so (don't know the details). Congestion can happen but avoidable. I have experienced high traffic mostly on the green and high blue trails. The black trails are usually pretty open.

It would be awesome if you can make it. Love to see the ultimate thing in action

could you comment more on the crawler box. and complaints concerning it? and problems at all? any reason not to buy one besides having to chop the gas tank?

I would direct your installation questions to Christo. From a performance standpoint it works great. I am amazed how well it works. I am still getting used to it with the automatic though. with a stick and dual crawlers it is nice b/c I could size up the obstacle and pick the best gear. With the auto I have to let it shift. I will put a crawler box in my V8 80 when I get a chance.
