furry seat covers?

whats the deal with those things? Anyone have any direct experience with them?

I admit, i have an issue in the heat in the cruiser seats, i sweat, bad. Back and ass! It sucks, especially if i'm heading to meet a client or anyone for that matter, i get there, get out of the truck and i have a wet back and ass.

Anyways, my good friend has furry seat covers (sheep i guess) on her leather Mercedes seats. I asked what they were for and she said it keeps you from sweating. Seems kind of backwards, seems like a big fluffy, fuzzy seat cover would cause more heat/sweat?

Anyone?

I hear the benefits of sheep skin seat covers is tha they keep you cool in the hot summer season, and warm in the cold weather.. although never had them on my cruiser...FWIW, Costco sells them for a lot less than you will find them elsewhere...when I looked, they did not have the tan color in stock...

I had sheepskin seat covers on an RX7 back in the 80's. Hot Socal summers...I loved them. Very comfortable and not hot!

Yeah SheepSkin FTW.

I keep considering getting them again this time for the LX. I guess being garaged and working A/C hasn't put this on the top of my to-do list.

I had the Costco ones on my 60, they were hot. Nice in the winter, not so nice in the summer.

I've had these since the truck was a week old and they're holding up great. They also keep my back from sweating when I'm riding along at 5mph in 115* heat.
(Oh, and the girls like them.............. hahaha.)

I have woven wool seat covers. They work great hear in AZ. I still get sweaty when it is over 100, but it is much better than the original, ugly, cracked leather.
