front end clunk
Any thoughts on the following:
have had an OME medium lift on my 92 for about a year (without caster correction). recently installed leading arm drop bracket to fix caster and now when loading the front end something is bottoming out. can't tell what's hitting by looking. the front axle, tie rods, sway bars don't seem to have any scuffs. any ideas what might be hitting? ![]() lance |

prob fixed
Loaded the front end today by jacking up the back and found the problem. By putting on the caster correction plates it over-corrected it a bit (fine by me, because the plan is to higher someday anyway) and angle of the front springs changed. The spring follow is just grazing the inside surface of the spring when the front end is lower than the rear. Minor prob. Don't plan on fixing it. thanks for the suggestion ncrockingfj.
Cheers. Lance ![]() |
