Show us your after marketseats.

I'm hoping we can get a thread of pictures of aftermarket seats and mounting options.

Post 'em up.

I am in the process of saving for the Corbeau C1's
They even make rails for the 80 series

Corbeau Racing Seat: CR1

or

Corbeau Moab

My neighbor has them i his taco. 10X more comfy than the stockers and much more support.
He added the built in lumbar supports
very nice

They make rails for FJ40's, 55's, 60's and 62's, too! Good deal. Ned

I have replaced my drivers seat with a Paratus from ARB. It makes a 750 mile trip feel like a run to the corner shops.

G'day all,

I have 1995 4Runner (Surf) SR5 seats in my Troopie, and in my 1983 FJ40. This is not a great photo (sorry) of them in my 1983 FJ40. Love them, and they are dead easy to make fit into a 79-84 40 series.

Cheers,

Josh

Is that an arm rest on those seats or just a funny angle of your center console?
An arm rest is really what is missing in my opinion on our seats....
I was checking out some sweet Range Rover seats that were perferated leather which seemed like it would breath nice and had arm rests with a knob on the bottom that made them adjustable. Bet it wouldn't be too hard to fab some cruiser tracks onto them....

I was screwing with the arm rest knob in my bosses range the other day...not very exciting or useful imo. It just adjusted the angle that it sits at.

Any ARB dealer may be able to get them, I've never heard of them being in the states tho. Be prepared for sticker shock if they are able to get them.

I understand that, it adjusts the angle and much slower than my VW middle arm rest consloe which uses a button for quick adjusting.
But how were the seats in the Range Rover? Comfortable?

haha, sure they're comfortable, but I would expect nothing less in a $90k suv! Actually in his last one, an '06 or '07 I believe, he had problems with one of the seats and it had to be sent to England for repair bro....crazy expensive cars to maintain.

Yes that is an arm rest. It makes a surprising amount of difference on a long trip. The little bulb sitting on the middle of the seat base is for lumbar adjustment, it's great too, although it is not normally in the middle of the seat!!

BTW This pic is not my truck. It's one of Paratus' promo shots. Finding the pic on the net was easier than pulling the seat covers off mine.

I have the Corbeau Moab...got them installed in October. Everything went pretty well with the help of a BFH for the bracket.

Any problems with the PS not clearing the rear heat unit?
