91 80 with 5.29 and 35s, speedo correction?

I am now running 5.29 and 35" tires (which is great for the 3fe btw), and am of course reading high on the speedo. It doesn't really bother me much as all my minis ended up this way with no way to correct it. I was wondering if there is any way to correct a 91-92 speedo? I realize there are calibrators for the 93 and up electronic speedos, but what about the good old cables?

My buddy ran his GPS...I'm 5 miles an hour slower than the speedo. I have a 91 with 36 inch swampers, 5.29's. Your probably somewhere around there as well. Hope this helps.

Yep, easy as pie. Get bigger tires.

LOL I think the 35s will do for a while. The wife already looks funny getting in in a skirt. hehehe

My GPS shows about 12% or so at this point.

mark 4wd adaptors here in OZ do a speedo correction kit that basically plugs straight in. It has a huge range of settings in its manual and if you still cant figure it out just call them and they will gladly help you out.

Ive got it in mine and it works great.

I forgot to mention that it had 2 settings so you can switch between road and off road tires.
