Yes, the torque specs can vary by the wheel. If the wheel maker says follow the mfrs torque spec then do so. I'd call them and ask. You have the older style acorn nuts with the tapered contact face with the rim, right? In the US in '95 the rims stayed the same but Toyota updated the lugnut contact face to the flat washer lugnut/flat rim setup. On the same year 80 there is also a steel factory wheel torque spec and an aluminum alloy factory wheel torque spec.
So if you're concerned enough to post it here, I'd call the mfr and ask. The tires don't matter. As a figure to use until you find the correct one, I think the pre 93 US alloys were 87 lbs-ft and the steel were 104?? Someone confirm this?
