At Home Spray-on, Tintable Bedliner

I'm looking for a bedliner that I can spray-on at home and that I can tint. I like the looks of the U-Pol product and the positive feedback it has gotten on Mud. Has anyone tinted this product and what did you use to tint it? Regular automotive paint? This is what a product called Speedliner uses to tint their product. I'm looking to coat where my flares once were and from the body molding down in as close to the same color as the 97 40th Emerald Green.

FWIW I just did the cargo area of my 92 with a product called Grizzly Grip. I can be rolled or sprayed on. It comes in various colors or you can tnt your own. It also comes with a UV blocker. They send all the directions for thinning for your sprayer etc. I'm real happy with the way it turned out.

U-Pol looks like an easy DIY product, but I want to be able to tint it to match my dark green. I'd also like the lower section and where the flares were to be a gray in color close to the color of the bumper end caps, not black....

I'm getting my truck redone this weekend. I plan on doing the entire sides like Beno's rig. One of the questions i asked the guy was about fade in the sun and if this product had UV protection in it. His statement is that ALL products are going to fade some even with UV protection in it. What he has done and others as well is to litterally spray-paint the product with black paint. That way it won't fade.

So i will keep you posted on the results.

Right now i have durabak on my rig and it is fading and peeling.

EDIT: the product i'm using this weekend is a PPG product and will be sprayed on. I can't remember the name, but i will post up once completed. The durabak i have on the truck now was rolled-on. It is starting to peel when hit with the pressure washer.

I am leaning towards the U-Pol as my local Linx company quoted me $3000.00, but that was to spray the entire truck. I think I will test U-Pol out on the center section of my hood. A new hood will eventually be sprayed emerald green with a gray center section. The fenders, sides, rear liftgate, and tailgate will be sprayed in green. Where the fender flares were and the lower half of the body and the mirrors will be sprayed a gray color. I am looking to save money by doing the prep and masking myself. Then spray with whatever product I find to be the most durable and easiest to apply. I WILL NOT use a roll-on application....
