Sliders are supposed to be designed to deflect in a way to not cause damage to the body. Looks like Hanna's works. My MetalTech sliders work the same way. I'm not sure what you are trying to prove here, Dusty...

that was a slamdunk, Dusty... Question is: is a Happy Meal enough that I would bother to take a pic to restate the obvious...?

Nah, surely you wouldn't insist on a pic if I tell you I've done it many times, right...? Should I PM you my Paypal address?

Up here in Alaska, we get on muddy side hill trails quite often (minus the big rocks) and routinely pull cable. Our winches are a tool that are used quite often. Just curious if it is for weight savings or approach angle or lack of funds?
Also, it definitely looks like a Swamper kind of mud.
I'd guess creeper's reason is the same as mine right now... lack of money. Otherwise i'd have a winch on it tomorrow

1) Lack of money
2) Usually with someone with a winch. (My wifes 4Runner has one.)
3) Usually don't need it!

As for the mud, Super Swampers are the next on my list!

And it could get expensive for Dusty.

I've had my truck up on home made sliders using George's design. There are probably pics somewhere... not worth $7 to break out the hi-lift to retake pics though.

These pice are worth $50 to me. $43 left. only one pic needed for prize. show the pass front wheel totally off the ground like the above pic with the highlift in same position.

Do you realy trust your sliders? 3 days left to collect prize

I may not know much about Wheeling. I have never rolled one desert buggy. I grew up with Land Cruisers, I have built fast-buggy off-road suspension systems. I have used the desert sports car style of car as well as slow-poke 4X4's. Suspension is my game. I am getting simple in my older age. I prefer a well built LC over the custom-built fast cars of years past. I am done with off-road sports cars.
Those cars are a lot of fun, but when I screw up and run it into a wall, it costs a lot! The forest roads are too much used for a car that runs at such speeds
I used to drive my Baja buggy up a mountain in the afternoon. During the drive back down in the evening, I would scrape off all of the mirrors and much of the paint on the right side of the car! I try not to do such things to my Cruiser.
