Sliders are supposed to be designed to deflect in a way to not cause damage to the body. Looks like Hanna's works. My MetalTech sliders work the same way. I'm not sure what you are trying to prove here, Dusty...

that was a slamdunk, Dusty... Question is: is a Happy Meal enough that I would bother to take a pic to restate the obvious...?
![]() Nah, surely you wouldn't insist on a pic if I tell you I've done it many times, right...? Should I PM you my Paypal address?

And it could get expensive for Dusty.
I've had my truck up on home made sliders using George's design. There are probably pics somewhere... not worth $7 to break out the hi-lift to retake pics though. -B- __________________ 97 FZJ80 - Wing Nut MAF, locked, 315 Toyos, 4.88s, Slee 4", George's sliders, Slee bumpers, M12000, OBA, Outback drawers + other stuff. if you hang your truck from a crane by your slider you get the rest
or if you stand naked in front of a police station and have a friend take a pic...that too will get the money. must be durring the day and 1 police officer must be present in pic __________________ 97lx450 4" slee/j's, sliders, bumpers, 3" exhaust, custom turbo, HG pm/Valve job/seals, sweet custom skid plate, Sleeoffroad parts, Buys oe parts from Cruiser Dan used to have 37" swampers.. 1 tons and 42's pending..... I may not know much about Wheeling. I have never rolled one desert buggy. I grew up with Land Cruisers, I have built fast-buggy off-road suspension systems. I have used the desert sports car style of car as well as slow-poke 4X4's. Suspension is my game. I am getting simple in my older age. I prefer a well built LC over the custom-built fast cars of years past. I am done with off-road sports cars.
Those cars are a lot of fun, but when I screw up and run it into a wall, it costs a lot! The forest roads are too much used for a car that runs at such speeds I used to drive my Baja buggy up a mountain in the afternoon. During the drive back down in the evening, I would scrape off all of the mirrors and much of the paint on the right side of the car! I try not to do such things to my Cruiser. |
