Replacing Rubber in the Suspension

Hi All,
My big project for 07 was rebuilding the axles. Front and Back. All new parts. Car drives like new on new everything.

My next mini project is to replace the rubber in the suspension. I can see rubber in the sway bar links and on the front I can see the body is connected to the frame with what used to be a rubber bushings. Where else do I have rubber? Giving that the car is 94K miles and 11 years old, I am sure that no rubber bushing is any good.

TIA
Rami

I wouldn't just assume these rubber bushings are bad. Sway bar links, control arms and panhard bars (both front and rear). You are looking at a pretty penny to replace all of them.

Why doesn't anyone like Energy Suspension make poly kits for our trucks? I have checked their site and they only carry parts for Tacomas. I live in AZ rubber parts take a beating in the heat.

Gday
Pretty sure Nolothane (poly) and a few others, makes a "kit". It doesnt have every thing, but I think it has the sway bar stuff. The control arm bushes are availible seperately.
Nolothane used to be cheep here, but times seem to have changed. so I went aftermarket rubber. eg...$29AU for 4 pieces of poly, vs $2.95 for 4 pieces of rubber and the nuts and bolts!
It gets hot here in Qld too, and 80% of the cruisers I work on, on mine sites, never go on bitumin, and do 50000km (35k miles?) per year. I now have no preference for rubber or poly.
Hope this helps.

Matt
