Tell me what you think of these Tires/rims for sale

Tell me what you all think of these? Not exactly what I need, but the rim size is should be standard LC, the tread looks good, size is smaller than OEM, but tall and skinny for these back-up set and 285/75/16 for all other use.

The Teflon Mojave's for our trucks are not that easy to come by. Get them fast before I do.

Sounds like a smoking good deal! Especially if they have the right backspacing

I would!!

Forget the tires, I have been eyeing those wheels for about 4 or 5 months now. Locally and over the web, the best I have been able to come up with is just over $200 a piece. If you can grab them, I would at $112.50 a piece.

I looked at a few wheel/tire online sources, it looks like that size rim is what is recomended?

Anyone sure that this Wheel size will work?

How do you check the backspacing?

Tire size going to be an issue?

Thank you

Buy those fast. If they were in my area, they would be on my LC right now.

Kayaked...

Go to the Americanracing.com page. I looked it up and for a '97 FZJ80 or '97 LX450 the application guide states the #3981-6883 wheel is the correct one. This wheel is 16x8" w/ a offset of 0 and a backspace of 4 1/2.

Looking on the page linked to above American Racing only carries two wheels with the above specs and correct lug pattern and aside from part # the specs are identical. So, IMO they should fit fine.

The tires on the other hand...I'm not sure what 245/65 works out to be but it seems they would be way undersized for a Landcruiser. Should be able to sell them pretty easily though or see if the guy will split the tires out from the wheels.

Good luck!

Look good, but what are you going to do with those little bitty tires?

These look good too.
