| 97 LC 49th Wood Trim and Floor Mats I have a 40th LC Lockers-loaded.
What I would like to find are two things. - Floor Mats
- Wood Grain kit (car came with-out)
I would like to keep things as close to OEM as possible. Any ideas or product recomendations would be appreciated.

| Factory wood and the 40th anniversary floor mats are both discontinued.

| The wood delaminates after a few years and looks like hell. The only difference between the 40th mats and the regular mats was the embroidered logos on the front mats.

| There have been some wood kits listed in EBAY I believe someone out of Japan is offering them. The wood looks like it is slightly a different color. They do have a picture of the pattern and it looks to match. If you go with them please take pictures and share. I have a 97' collectors that is starting to bubble. |

Seriously, the OEM stuff was port installed and it was junk. I have never seen an LX but they say it has much better wood/plastic trim.
If you really want that stuff (and I think you are crazy...) then check a Lexus dealer. The stuff on eBay is spotty. I saw one kit that was brand new and looked worse than my 10 yo delaminated plastic crapola.

| Metal Dash Trim My 97 Collectors Edition is in stage 2 delamination and it's starting to look like crap. I am going to replace it soon but with what?
Sounds like the wood and plastic trim does not hold up well.
I'm thinking that aluminum or stainless would look fairly decent in the place of all the fakeness.
Been done yet? If so ...post em.

| SOR had the 40th mats...no longer. Might look at having a pair embroidered.

| I just picked some mats on eBay embroidered with the LAND CRUISER logo and they really look nice. I also installed an after-market wood grain kit. My theory is when I'm in my LC I want to enjoy it and the appearance of the mats and the wood grain makes me feel good. If you like it, do it.
Be Happy, Don't worry!
