It's mine all mine

Yes that's right, the LC is officially all mine to do with as I see fit.

The wife saw an add in the local paper on a new 2007 4Skinner. So we drove down to confirm the price. As expected there was some fine print and the deal was basically 2k off of MSRP.

As we walked off the lot I glanced at a 2003 Limited with the V8 with a sticker of 22995.00. Mentioned to the wife that that was the best truck on the lot for our needs.

Drove the thing home 3 hours later.

Man did they pack a crap load of options on that thing. You name it, it's got two of them.

My focus was on the V8 and load height suspension for towing our tent trailer. Pretty happy with the deal also, just under avg trade in value.

Not much tech but getting the wife off my back about breaking the only vehicle we have for towing has been a long time coming.

Congrats on the rig AND getting the 80 all to your own Rick!

Tech: Now that you don't have to worry about downtime with the 80, whats the plan of attack to force feed it?

Still the same, baby steps. But it will be easier once I get to the actual install of the thing.

Congrats on your (wife's) new acquisition.

You better do the blue clutch mod and the seat rail mod on it first, eh?

Thanks guys. Yes it was a good deal for both of us. She got a new to her truck and I got a license to break stuff.

It was good timing as well since the mods are all but done and it's time to prove them out.

I've sent my dues to Yankee toys, our local club, and want to get more involved with my son wheeling the truck.
