| They're EVERYWHERE!!!! Another noob I have been lurking here for a good five months, and I think I'm ready for my intro...
I bought a 97 FZJ80 in August last year. I progressed from a 94 Toyota pickup, to a 90 4runner. The runner had about 250k so I was wanting to upgrade. I got permission from the wife to get a Landcruiser. Not knowing anything about the differences I wanted a FJ60. The bodystyle reminded me of my dad's old Wagoneer. I found my FZJ80 in the autotrader. I bought it with cloth interior, oem lockers, OME 2.5 lift, Kaymar tire carrier and an ARB non-winch. I had to sell my motorcycle to get it, but I don't regret it.
old pickup:
here is the bike I sold (05 Suzuki GSXR 600):
and my truck the day I bought it:
the PO included the fender flare and the seal. I got it painted for 40 bucks and it looks good now.
I bought 30mm coil spacers from Man-A-Fre to take of the stink bug look shown here:
Haven't really done much but maintainance. This truck is amazing, I purposely take the long way home from work because I love driving it.
here are some pics I know you love those : |

| Looks great, you got the rare non-slider windows and I've never seen that color combo.

| Nice trucks. I'm glad you fixed the flare. I like them better with the flares on.

| I was tripping out on the non sliding rear windows too. I like the before and after pics of the running boards also. I was discussing removing ours with my wife today while we were out on a trail. Nice truck. |

| I've been toying with the idea of no flares, but that won't happen for a while
I have 285's Yokohamas... I can't wait for them to wear out though I really want to get some BFGs.
The truck didn't come with third row seats, I was told that was why I have no sliding windows. Taking the running boards off was so easy and it definately made it more attractive. A lot of complaints from passengers
but not from my wife, the pickup had almost a 6'' lift so this truck isn't as high. |

| Nice K5. Who's 05 R6 is that? Your house looks more like a frat house w/all the bikes/trucks everywhere.
Cloth seats, lockers, Willy Wonka two-tone, clear windows and solid rear windows. What is the manufacture date of your cruiser?

Good eye Jenny! The R6 was my wife's. She had a bad wreck (24 stitches in her knee and broken collar bone) and State Farm took it away.
We had four bikes in the garage when that pic was taken. My gixxer, the R6, a CBR 600RR, and a GS500F.
Those were some good times
...just checked the manufacture date: 07/97 |

You'll live and get to enjoy the 80 longer with the bike gone - Too many stupid drivers on the roads anymore taking the enjoyment of riding away!
Nice 80 as well. Probably a very rare find indeed!!

NM has some very bad drivers, even in my 80 peole can hardly see me. I know a lot of people complain about how sports bikes have loud exhaust, but having that loud exhaust has saved me plenty of times. People can hardly see you, but at high RPMs they can definately HEAR you!!! |

| Two Mays ago I rode with some friends from Abq to Fountain. We rode through Pueblo on I-25. We went to the PPIR to watch the AMA races.
It was freakin awesome!!! But it was a long ride for a sport bike... |
