Blinkers = Dead :(

Yeeeeaaaaa, um, my blinkers don't work anymore. i went into town, came home, went inside for 15 minutes, and had to go back into town for something. on the first trip they worked fine, but going back into town, they didnt work at all, and they still dont. checked the fuses, connectors, and even the trailer hitch electrical wiring. (I didnt think that would have anything to do with it, but oh well.)finding nothing, my only guess was the flasher. So i went out and got one, came back, and the search began; under the hood, under the driver's side dash, and under the passengers side dash. knowing me, it's probably right under my nose and i didnt realize it, but does anybody know where the flasher is?

roadblock...

so the hazard lights work. im guessing it cant be the flasher (or could it?) so if the lights work, but dont come on when you use the blinker, would this mean i need a new blinker switch?

Year? model? please put this in your signature, due to the clear corners on the rig in your avatar it may be a LX450 so I will go with that for now.

neither the left nor right blinker works?

are you certain that the 7.5 amp "Turn" fuse is good? replace it anyway.

it is probably not the flasher relay as it is used for both the blinkers and hazards. but try it anyway, it is located under the drivers kick panel , that is relay block #1, it has six positions on it, not all are filled, the flasher is the most forward on the top row.

my first suspect would be the trailer converter, it is the least reliable parts of the system, try removing it from the system, by unhooking the plugs in the back and hooking the original trucks plugs together bypassing the converter, there are plugs in both sides of the rear, just forward of the tail lights.

burnt out bulbs can mess with the blinkers but it seams unlikely that you would have that happen to both sides at the same time although I guess it is possible.

next suspect would be the hazard switch,

last would be the blinker switch as it is the most expensive.

AFAIK neither of the switches have been reported as problems here, but I have not read every thread.

last part of the system is the wiring and ground points,
