Vehicle Downtime Issues

I'm hoping to have the LC running again by the new year after almost 8 months of downtime, but I'm wondering what issues I need to expect and/or deal with. It has been garaged the whole time and the entire dash is being reassembled. I'm also replacing all the coolant hoses. The battery has been disconnected the whole time. I capped off the A/C lines, but there was a 2 hour window when they weren't capped. I'm curious if there will be any adverse effects this far out from when they were opened. Tires could also be an issue since the vehicle has not been on jack stands (though this could be an easy way into larger tires ). What else...?

The battery will likely be discharged and you should replace the receiver-dryer.
The tires may be a bit flat-spotted but that should work it's self out after a few miles traveled. The dryer is really a must as they should be changed any time the system is opened up, especially in a case where it has been open for this long. Capping it does not negate that requirement.

If the tank was not topped off when you parked it, I'd toss in a can or two of HEET to absorb any condensation. Especially before exposing it to freezing Chicago temps.

Got the dryer already. Good point on the HEET, especially since I had the tank open during the summer to change the fuel pre-filter. I guess this wont be the excuse I've needed to upgrade to 315s on the tires. Thanks.

I would try to flush out the brakes too. There will be a lot of sediment in the lines, and the fluid will have absorbed a lot of moisture, it will probably be dark in the reservoir.

Don't forget to rotate the air in the tires...
