I am guessing no is the answer to this one. Did yours corrode or something?

You must not know Dan:

or you wouldn't say "have to". Call him.

BTW, most of us here believe in OEM for a lot more than just latches and trim pieces...

If you're speaking of the latch handle on the top of the lower gate, I just replaced that myself. It was less than $20 retail, I think I paid $13. Talk to CDan.

Yeah. If it is just the black plastic handle split at the knurled knob, a 30 second replacement. No needed.

heh Yup, new to the family I sent a pm to cruiserDan.

Yup, the 2 metal rods corroded so I need the handle assembly not just the handle. Sorry for the confusion.

Home built handle

Hi Speedracer,

Had a pretty well the same problem. The two arms that stick out from under the lift gate were a little rusty so I pulled the handle off to fix it. We live with snow for part of the year and the back door takes a bit of punishment for salt laden road slush.

I put the black handle back on and the wife used the truck and came back and said, "do you know the handle on the back door is missing?" The handle is a one time fit and if you remove it, you break the retaining clips( plastic tits) not that kind.
So I made one out of a piece of 3/8 thick aluminium. Drilled holes for the two little arms that stick out and drilled and tapped two small holes at 90" to the holes for the arms, 3/16" UNC thread and put allen screws in to contact the arms.
Now I can take it off if needed .
See pictures. Sorry they are not a great pictures

Thanks jb

Brando

If you are ordering parts from CDan let me know. I'll add some to the list and we can split shipping.

You should see the rotors and pads I just got in.
