please do a review here if you do try the demo. I need to get my research done in in time to put it on my christmas list

All that work and dedication and you still have the factory racks on, what gives?

Ken,
Very nice. What pods did you use for your guages and where did you get them?

Thanks,
Dave

I like the factory roof rack. I have no issues with it. I know others can't wait to take it off. Different strokes for different folks. I have no need for anything better for a roof rack. If I did, I would talk to Alvaro.

It is a 2 pod for an Acura and you have to trim the edges. If I had it to do over again, I would not have trimmed at the grab handle, but molded the plastic with heat like others have done.

There is no official DOT rating for the bumper and reciver. My trailer fully loaded is close to 3000lbs and I tow it over the Mtn passes

Awesome.
And thanks for all the great work you do on this forum.
Your knowledge and constant patience has helped me learn quite a bit about these trucks, and your rig has been a constant source of envy for myself.

Now if I could only get to Slee one day and order the "Romer"Package for my stock 94.

I notice you have less hair in the current pics than in some of the old pics. Think that also contributes to less weight for the truck to haul and therefore a tad more spry on the rocks.

Nice writeup.

Still have the forum key, and the 80 although it's for sale in the classifieds. Life is getting back to normal, so can now lurk more often.

Great job on the truck and with the forum.

Nice rig(s) awesome write up, I'd like to apply for RHSCOR status (red headed step child of Romer) seeing as how you treat your very lucky daughters that has to be good for an ARB, slees, sliders and tires. lol

Romer,

Excellent write up and attention to all the little details. At first glance it is daunting to look at a nice truck like yours and see how far mine has to go. The nice thing about the write up is it shows how it has definitely been a process over time. Having said that, it appears that your budget is much healthier than most, lucky. Thanks for all the good ideas and work on the site.

The big step came because I sacrificed my FJ40 and explained to the wife that all the money was going into the 80.

Very Impressive. you must have a good job to support all these trucks

This board is too "image" based. I want to hear your exhaust. Who do I bribe to get an audio recording of it ?

Romer,very very nice !!!
What a transformation!Sorry to hear that you had to sell the 40.
How did you like the truck with the OME meds and all the armour?
I like the way that you have set up the FAQ's section. It makes it very easy to look things up.
Also when you had the body damage how was that repaired? Thanks.
