Well, just wanted to share...
Shortly after I bought my 91, I had the starter stick on me. I immediately read on here about how to fix that. Shortly after that, I had the parts from CDan, and there they sat. Luckily, I never had the starter pull that trick again, I've read how the results can ruin your day. This was all over a year ago. I was out of town working for 8 months and just got home and decided I needed to take care of business.
So, pulled the starter today and replaced the plunger and contacts. Sweet. Other than a little difficulty getting the thing out, it was a piece of cake. I couldn't believe how worn down one of the contacts was. (Pic below).
It was also over a year ago when I installed the OME lift. Those caster correction bushings have been sitting on the workbench ever since. So I also pulled the leading arms today and took them down the street to a shop to get those pressed in.
Next up? As soon as the sliders arrive from Solid Rock Off-Road, they will go right on!
