Hanna Quality vs. Slee Sliders

I am looking to buy some sliders for my 96 FZJ80. I've narrowed it down to two different brands, Slee and Hanna. Which are better? I like how the Hanna protects the catalytic converter, it seems like it has more protection. Any thoughts?

Both the Slee and the Hanna sliders are top quality. Neither is "better"; each has different features though not significant. Slee offers the traditional tube sliders as well as the step sliders. That cat protection on the Hanna sliders comes at the expense of extra weight.

The bottom line is that you won't go wrong with either so check availability, price, and shipping costs. They are both big supporters of the Cruiser community and this forum.

Ditto what B has said - also check out the FAQ section for more info on sliders than you'd ever care to know - lots of good pics of both also. Given that you're in CA, Ken Hanna is in SLO if you're ever in Central CA you could pick up and save a lot in shipping. You reallly can't go wrong with either.

I bought the Hannas and like the Cat skid plate and the fast, accurate mounting - blt on. I have seen Christo's sliders and they are top quality too. Flip a coin.

I like both for different reasons, but ended up with a set from MetalTech....for whatever reason, I preferred the lines of their sliders....

mine are WELL tested....

They all are good, it comes down to a matter of personal preference and availability. I have the Slee step sliders because they are family friendly and are also well tested.

normally...I'd say, if you're headed down to Surf-n-Turf this upcoming November, you could swing by Hanna's and get his...

but since Slee will be at S-n-T this year...he could haul a set out for you...

so...toss a coin -- both are quality.

I like my hannas. The cat skid plate has come in handy a few times.

I'm happy with my hannas, but they're definitely heavy. I lost a bit of my lift when I bolted them on.

The slee's may be just as heavy for all I know.
