Fuel Filter relocation - 92 truck (22RE)

Does anyone, who has done it, have any pics of the filter new location. Do I need new (longer) hoses?

TIA,

ML

Howdy! I hate the way the factory mounted it on my 85. So many people complain that I always figured somebody would have a kit available, but I have never seen one. Good Luck. John

Wristpin, I was not sure about just letting hang on the fender well so I attached it , see pic. I really would like to bolt it...

Toy4xfun, I did do a search but did not find anything.

The hose going to the injectors is majorly stretched...

Thanks,
ML

well.. mine was attached at some point, with zip ties, and they since broke. and its been floatin around since. no chaffing. toyota put anti chaff tubes on over the hoses and so far they are fine.

I can take a pic of mine if you like.

You don't need longer hoses. Stock works fine.

I used wire ties as well-thick ones and the new filter is very tight/secure. I dont see them coming off any time in the near future.

Once you take off the filter/hoses, you will just redirect them to the well. Plenty of length to do this.
