22RE to 5VZ-FE Engine Swap

Hi, i just finished the D44 SAS, so i'm right now in my new project.

The donner is an 2002 Toyota 4Runner...

The bell housings looks to be a little diferent,

We modified the W56 bellhousing bolt pattern to catch with the 5VZ



The engine on the Pickup

The air box filter is on the oposite side, so the snorkel is it too, so you can see the pipe line to the air intake.

I was running the 22RE with 4.88 and was a little weak, but wasn't in my plans to swap the engine until it's died. I was just get a new set of R&P (5.29 rear and 5.38 front), is better to keep the 4.88's with the 5VZ or i must install the new R&P sets??

I would drive it with the 4.88's first.... See how you like it. The 5.29's will raise the highway RPM's some...
