Sliders are coming up next, few people in our club want to go wheeling in a couple weeks. Tossed something together in solidworks as a rough plan, I might tweak it a little more before I build the sliders.

Picking up the tubing this weekend when I have a chance to stop by the steel yard.

Sliders are finished, other then capping the ends off.

I am going to work on the side braces for the rear bumper this week, and taking the truck wheeling next weekend.

Quick little update... I cut some half doors for it and braced the sides of the rear bumper. Went wheeling twice, truck works great even with stock gearing and open diffs front and rear. Here are a few pics from the second wheeling trip.

Man this is just what I needed, now to go out buy some steel and some beer for my neighbor, so he will let me use his wielder, or just help him fix his jeep! Awsome!

Nice build. I really like what you've done with this runner. What are your plans for the rear springs?

Thanks

I need to take some more recent pictures, with the new tires, cut fenders, and cross over steering installed now. Also working on upgrading the front brakes.

For the rear springs, might try to make a set of springs a friend of mine has sitting in his garage work. He isn't sure what springs they are, might be 5" all pro springs? So I might need to take a leaf out of the pack to bring them down a bit.

Here is a someone recent picture, with certi-fit fenders. I ended up putting the old fenders back on and trimming them for now. I will go back to the certi-fit fenders once I am ready to repaint the entire truck.
