timing belt ?'s

replacing the tb and wp on my 89 v6. I've done a few tacos but haven't done the small v6 before. should i replace the tentioner spring or do i just let the spring pull it over and tighten the pulley? it was adjusted as tight as it would go when i took it off, does the spring even do anything if you tighten the pulley down anyway? should i replace the pulley between the cams, it has a little play in it. its a 200k truck that gets less than 1k miles/yr to lowes and back. i don't have a fsm for the 89 but i have one for the taco, can i use the same torque specs for the crank pulley? can i get the tb and wp from advance or do i need to spend the exra $$$ for toyota? thanks

I'd replace the tension spring. If the Mr T parts are marginally more I'd use them, AA should be fine for a shop truck.

Install the belt and the tension pulley and spring, rotate engine 2 times clockwise with the crankpulley bolt, and then tighten the tension pulley to 27 ft/lbs.
