engine swap

Hello all,

I currently have a 1990 4Runner with a 302 ford. The transmission I'm using, a T18, is complete junk. Does anyone know of another transmission I can use without having to do a body lift? Also, is there anyone else out there that has done this swap? I've so far only found one guy from australia and he had to custom make the bell housing.

Could you use an NP435? What t-case are you running?
