if you have trouble matching, it may be easier to "match" it black. wouldn't be entirely out of place in your cab...
slightly off topic, but if you are also interested in refitting the rest of your interior, i found a good source for carpet or vinyl 4Runner Carpet--Custom Toyota 4Runner Carpet i did my passenger area with carpet (for dd comfort), and the cargo area with vinyl - the carpet needed a bit of trimming, but the vinyl piece for the cargo area was plug and play, I only need to cut the slit between the split seat backs a little longer to allow for the separate folding, otherwise it laid right in. I am impressed with the quality of the material, very stout (maybe 2x the OE stuff?) and backed with sound proofing. good value IMO!

I have seen it done before, and while it looked good from a distance, when you looked close, it was very obvious it was painted.
For the ease of finding a brown one, I don't see why you wouldn't sell the blue one and buy a brown one. Then there is a company on ebay that sells new leather covers for the sr5 consoles.

I'll look into the ebay console covers. I assume this is the same company that is selling the new dash covers?
I don't know how "easy" it is to find a brown SR5 one. I spent 2 years looking for any SR5 one that was actually complete and that's the only reason that I bought the blue one. I would most appreciate if you or anyone could point me in the direction of a brown one for sale!
I'm also missing one of the brown buckets that go in the side panels on either side of the rear seat. Talk about a scavenger hunt! Can't find those in brown either (every color but).

How much do you want to spend is the question. I know of one sitting in a box in a garage.
When you say buckets, are you talking about these storage bins (shown in grey)?

Do you have a Gen1 SR5 center console that matches my brown interior? I don't care if the top needs recovering as long as the body and hinges are in good shape. If so, then send me a PM with a price.
On the buckets, I think we're talking the same thing but here's a photo just in case. As you can see, the bucket insert is missing on this side. It just drops in and they are interchangable side to side. I bought these SR5 rear side panels along with a rear SR5 seat and belts but the set was missing one bucket.

just posted a bunch of random pics, did not take time to label them yet but you should get the "picture" Picasa Web Albums - bkg - $Runner
couple pics show the vinyl in cargo area, at least one shows the filthy old carpet laid on top of the new one for trimming.
other pics include some other (slow) stages of my sig... WIP!

If anyone wanders into this thread looking for brown leather/vinyl for their center console, I was able to find a supplier. The details can be found in this thread:
