Removing the starter, 01 4Runner V6, auto
Anyone know the trick to getting the starter out of the engine bay? I can get it off the engine but every route out of the engine bay is too narrow/small to get the starter through!

have you tried pulling the rubber flap out of the fender well? i think i pulled mine from the bottom.
