yeah...the power-to-weight ratio is about -1:100,000...

I think people bought them and realized pulling off the lot it wouldn't pull. So instead of taking it back they just had them towed home so they wouldn't look so stupid trying to return it. Every one I've ever see had really,...REALLY low miles...:hhmm: wonder why?

A friend has one with a 1L in it...yikes!

Make sure the rear axle has been upgraded. They had lots of rear axle problems due to the coach builders running the weight up to max before any water/gas/luggage was added. This meant they were often overloaded and they had many axle problems. There was a recall on them (by the RV manufacturers) to replace the axles with a beefed up one with better bearing support for the duals. This drove many of the manufacturers out of business.

Looks kinda like the Oscar Mayer Wiener Mobile.

I tried to get ahold of one, I was really banking swapping axles for a set of 60/14bolt(Dually) (stock 4.56 or 4.88's) out of an anceint chevy, then run a 4.3 or 5.0/5.7 mated to dual toy cases. Then you could have one hell of a camper/tow rig

There was a 4x4 version for sale about a year ago... Almost bought it just for the novelty. Throw a 3.4/auto/duals and 35's and it'd had been a great expedition truck. :)
