Well with what you said over on yotatech I would be supprised if anyone was willing to help out at this point.
Have you thought about a google search on wiring diagrams? The you could grab a copy of the haynes manual and compare the two. Also your yota has an internal regulator and some gm alt's have an external regulator. Something you may want to think about. And next time you want help, you might want to think about not insulting people you dont know. Personally if anyone talked to me like that when they wanted help I would extend my middle finger and tell them to f$#! off. __________________ IFS Gone 4-ever!!!

No need to be sorry friend. It takes a whole lot more to insult me.
Just take the time to post what you want and there are many many people here that would help you. Take the time...that should be a friggin class in school, every year from the age of 10-18. And I am serious. Glad you found your solution. You should share it so others, if searched, will know. Not to beat a dead horse BUT
What if you are not around the forum? What if you move? What if....... I can think of many things. If you post the details, then it will be available on a search for other folks. That is the beauty of a public knowledge base/forum. Juke __________________ "May you be in heaven a half an hour before the devil knows you're dead" 1992 4x4 PU |

alrighty well i used this PDF given to me by a very nice man on yotatech.
http://http://www.ncttora.com/fsm/19...i/charging.pdfand then to figure out the cs144 alternator that i installed i googled cs144 wiring and looked in images. i found a very simple picture of exactly what i needed to get out of my toyota. Google Image Result for http://www.hotrodlane.cc/newimages/smallaltdrawing.jpg and by looking at the two, i knew what i had which was alternator light which was the yellow wire, ignition which was the red wire, and s which i guessed was switch which was the white wire. according the the cs144 cadillac alternator wiring diagram all i need is ignition that is fused (which is the red wire on the toyota plug) and ignition light (which is the yellow wire on the toyota plug) after figuring this out i just connected yellow to the F post and red to the L post. this works like a champ, but my battery light that comes on right before i start the truck because the alternator isnt charging when the vehicle is running doesn't come one but im not worried about that because i don't want to try things and end up frying the alternator! haha well there you go, this is how i did it, o and it doesn't seam to be ver easy to fry this alternator because my dad had connected it a few different ways (maybe 2) and it still works.
